The DigComp4VET project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, proudly announces the publication of its two final deliverables in multilanguage version: the DigComp4VET Mainstreaming Strategy and the Policy Manifesto. These key documents, now available online, represent the culmination of DigComp4VET’s efforts to support and scale digital competence in vocational education and training (VET) institutions across Europe.
These publications follow an intensive piloting and validation phase, in which the project consortium collaborated with VET institutions and learners, policymakers and industry stakeholders across six European countries - Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain. Following this phase, a series of bilateral and multilateral calls and meetings were held to consolidate findings, validate training resources and confirm the practical application of the DigCompEDU and DigCompORG frameworks. This process ensured that DigComp4VET’s outputs are directly aligned with the needs of VET practitioners and responsive to industry demands.
Key final deliverables:
Fostering new policy cycles and VET programmes
As DigComp4VET concludes, the project’s insights and models now serve as a foundation for future policy discussions and similar initiatives. By presenting DigComp4VET as a case study, the Mainstreaming Strategy and Policy Manifesto foster new avenues for scaling digital competences in VET, emphasizing collaborative frameworks and EU-wide initiatives. The consortium encourages policymakers and VET stakeholders to adopt and adapt these resources to drive forward digital transformation in the sector, aligning with EU targets for a competitive, digitally capable workforce.
